Prokura

The Prokura is a comprehensive commercial power of attorney according to § 49 HGB, authorizing holders to perform almost all commercial transactions and legal acts of a business enterprise. It is granted by the business owner or an authorized representative body of a corporation and must be registered declaratively in the commercial register, along with its termination. The register notes the name, date of birth, and type of Prokura (individual or joint).
